The international acclaimed Infosys company founder NR Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy who have reached the pinnacle of heights were at Basanthkumar Patil two film launch of ‘Bettada Jeeva’ and ‘Hejjegalu’ on Sunday night gathered the expected attention.

NR Narayanamurthy throughout the function clapped and enjoyed the speeches made sitting with the guests.

Smt Sudha Murthy was in fact on the dais lighted the lamp to launch the two films with Patil Puttappa who had come from Hubli to this event.

Smt Sudha Murthy recounted the novel of Dr Shivarama Karanth ‘Bettada Jeeva’ and expressed her curiosity to watch the film. There are some books that go off the shelves but books like ‘Shakunthala’ remain in the shelf for ever. Dr Karanth novels also have that strength said Sudha Murthy.

Drawing her attention on Kerala film industry the noted lady said even in Kannada the literature should used like how it was used in the past.

Basanthkumar Patil honored the couple of acclaim. In his address Basanthkumar Patil said even for 100 years we can pick novels from our literary segment and go on making films.

For the arrival of Infosys founder considered it as a bonus from Sudha Murthy madam.
